5 stars for the music.
4 stars for the effort and lay out. I wish I could have seen the back room.
3.5 stars for the taste of my food was okay.
I have the watermelon salad, Braised Beef Short Ribs, Sorbet with sugar cookie.
Service = the "Meh, I've had better." She did leave me alone but didn't explain or offer to explain any options to the dining menu for restaurant week as I overheard another server provide and I would have totally picked that option.
The braised beef ribs tasted like any beef from a pot roast. It wasn't overcooked just nothing to write home about. The vegetables that the beef sat on top of was ok but again lacked a great flavor for me YET the sliced ginger sold it. It wrapped all the items well.
The butter served with the bread is plain but man it's really fresh butter.
Server helpers were efficient. Place filled up quickly at 5:30pm I guess others held the same idea as me - get in and get out before the crowd.
I would return for the flavor options on that sorbet but compared to the cheesecake and olive oil cake slices the portion size was much smaller.
I did want to try the cucumber wasabi gazpacho but stuck with the salad after learning the soup wasn't garnished with a seafood.
I would recommend the place for a date night, business meeting or family outing. Simple and to the point is what I like. This place provides that.
Sidenote: I think the Restaurant week menu is more appealing than the daily menu but obviously this isn't a reflection of poor options or quality every other day because the place remains full. I'm just stating what I thought.
