A friend recommended this place and insists that I try the macaroons and butter croissant. I'm not a fan of either so I wasn't excited to check it out. My friend bought the pistachio macaroon and she gave me a bite. I've always thought macaroons were just a burst of simply sugar, but it was the exact opposite of what I had envision. The almond (sandwich) part was moist and had the same texture as a piece of cake and the pistachio filling left an unforgettable taste. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and the pistachio flavor was decadent.
Another popular item was the butter croissant. At first I was like how good can it be? It's a croissant. The first few bites was mediocre but as I got to the middle, I can taste the buttery flakes melt in my mouth. This croissant definitely stood out and by far the best. I've tasted macaroons and croissants everywhere and this patisserie sure is number one on my list thus far. Highly recommended!
