  • I wish I give these guys more stars but I think you get the idea. If you're looking for professional, courteous and understanding movers to work with I wouldn't recommend anyone but these guys. This is why I think so highly of them. I bought a bedroom set from someone and we had a misunderstanding of the transfer of funds. The pick up was for a Saturday morning. I had only given Alex and his crew a few days notice to move the bedroom set. He accommodated us on very short notice. Well an issue arises Friday evening and I had to make a dreaded call to Alex to cancel the move. I knew he had already the job coordinated and I'm sure he had to rearrange his schedule a little to help us. When I gave him the bad news he was more than understanding and remained professional the whole time. I personally would've been pissed but he said it was Ok. I felt really bad. A few days later I text from the person who I bought the bedroom set from and said the funds went through. I now needed to find a mover to move the stuff from Mesa to Surprise. On top of that we wanted to have the furniture delivered in a few days. I had the audacity to call Alex back and he said he couldn't do a the weekend because they were booked but he could move it on Friday night...at 7 PM! That was crazy because I don't know of any moving company who would pick up and deliver that late. Fortunately for us it worked out great for everyone because of our work schedule. They picked up the bedroom set at 7 PM in Mesa and had it delivered by 8:30 in Surprise. They did a great job. I wasn't there but my wife said they were fast and efficient. To be even more annoying I asked for a bedroom set from downstairs moved to upstairs before the other bedroom set was brought in. They were so accommodating. My wife was so impressed she gave a very generous tip considering it was late Friday night. The main reason I went with Smooth Transition Movers is they are a veteran own company and we are a military family. I like to support small businesses and veterans. They gave a nice discount for military members but were very reasonably priced without it. I can't thank Alex and his crew enough. If you need patient, courteous and honest movers, these are your guys.
