  • Top Turf ruined my lawn. I followed all of their instructions as indicated, and months later I was informed that I had brown patch fungus that was occurring for 3+ months while they were treating my property. They failed to diagnose the problem the entire time it was occurring, and let the disease destroy my lawn. In fact, I had to call them and ask them what was going on once the lawn was destroyed, and they later sent a technician who left a slip on my door that said I had brown patch fungus (thanks for telling me 3+ months later). Never did their technicians inform me of this problem on their work orders where they noted instructions for how to care for the lawn and what issues I may have going on. Nor did follow-up to ask me if I would like fungus treatment to correct the problem. I re-did my entire lawn before hiring Top Turf and now I am forced to re-do it again since my reliance on them destroyed my lawn. They failed to provide the service as represented and warranted on their website located at www.topturf.net. When speaking to Top Turf about these concerns they were rude, disrespectful, uncaring, and were not interested in standing behind the claims or guarantees on their website listed below. In the end, Top Turf cost me $500 to re-do my entire front lawn this fall. Avoid at all costs! Update in response to Top Turf's rebuttal. So I switched to Canopy Lawn care and during their fertilization the technician notified me that brown patch was starting to form and I should begin applying fungicide immediately. I promptly signed up for the treatment and they came out and treated it the following day. Unfortunately with Top Turf your forced to become an expert at diagnosing what your lawn needs vs. them taking responsibility for proactively informing you.
