  • Really admire the Calvary Chapel movement. Chuck Smith is my all-time favorite pastor. That said this branch in Spring Valley was just a little too far from my neighborhood so we ended up having to find another church. It's a pretty big congregation and we found it hard to connect with anybody. But I have high praise for Calvary. They've helped put the love and kindness and compassion back into Christianity in some respects. Although sometimes I think Pastor Derek can be a little angry as I can still hear him on Rise Up Radio.
