  • This location of SVdP has a huge selection, but somehow lacking anything that I want (though the huge display of wedding dresses when I walked in made me consider buying a box of red dye to be Lydia in Beetlejuice for Halloween). But I digress... On this trip I went looking for some 80s menswear for my Halloween costume, inspired by all of the hideous/amazing 80s/90s dresses I noticed the other day in the window. They had a lot of pretty nice mens clothing, but nothing from the era I needed. After going bust on clothes, I wandered through the store and found a creepy section of Kleenex pocket packs and other toiletries that looked like they'd seen better days - no thanks. Same goes for the rack of used lingerie. There are surely some good finds in here, but I didn't have the time today to do a solid dig-through. I'll keep it in mind for a more leisurely morning or afternoon, but I'll have to take my costume hunt elsewhere.
