  • we had breakfast at square cafe 3 (count 'em!) times while visiting pittsburgh and all three meals were great! my SO had the square breakfast with bacon and fruit in place of potatoes and the sub was graciously offered at no xtra charge. my vegan pancakes were brought to the table exactly as requested: nada on them. fresh fruit is really fresh; our server told us the fruit bowls are cut up every morning. coffee is served in quirky square (of course!) mugs. my ice tea was really good and I was offered a to go tall cup before we got the check. sweet. our servers were all prompt, really pleasant and told us the list of specials before we had to ask. this is our fav goto breakfast place when we return to the 'burgh. thanks, Square Cafe!
