| - This is by far the WORST experience of my life. When you are dealing with emotional health, depression, anxiety, insomnia, suicidal thoughts, you are supposed to be able to turn to a licensed professional for HELP. SOMEONE IS SUPPOSED TO HELP YOU! These people are in no way shape or form friendly, professional, they act as they are above you and like you are taking up too much of their time. They make you feel like an inconvenience and a problem. The receptionists are rude. No one says please or thank you. No one smiles. No one asks you how you're doing. Not one member of this staff is courteous. Everyone here has an attitude. They don't smile. They don't make you feel welcomed. Or important. Or valued. Every time I have ever gone here I've ALWAYS walked out wondering "why not just dodge out into traffic and be done with this life? If these are the people who are supposed to help me and they treat me worse than a high school troubled teen who works at McDonald's, what is the point? No compassion. No professionalism. No customer service. They watch the clock while you're there. They change their window of opportunity for late appointments ALL THE TIME! The window NEVER stays the same. They talk to you like you are disrupting their day. Like they have better things to do. Instead of thinking with the mindset of "'this person needs help. And I need to be sensitive to how I treat them. I need to be empathetic and compassionate and let them know that someone cares. I need to know that if I'm the last person this client ever speaks to, I was happy with how I encouraged them." I've even told them once when they didn't take me for an appointment, I say in my car right outside their office for an hour and just cried. No one came out to check on me. No one cared. I told them I was going through an awful day and was extremely suicidal and they said "sorry, you're late, we can't see you, we can't help you." When I said "I want to die. I want to commit suicide" the receptionist sat on the phone in silence. And then said "is there anything else I can do for you today? Because we can't help you?" What kind of place is this? Why is this tolerated? Who exactly are they treating? When I have had therapy appointments, 5min before the appointment was over she'd get up and hold the door open for me. My message to "get out now, your time is up". I felt like a number at the DMV line. Not like a patient who just received help. I wouldn't recommend this place to the devil himself. This is truly the worst experience, worst staff, worst treatment, no care, no compassion, they don't care about you. They are all selfish. Talk to you like you're annoying. Very apparent that they want nothing to do with you. Whoever writes their pay checks really needs to know how they REALLY treat people. Ive honestly gotten better treatment from the internet than I've gotten from this facility. They are absolutely awful. They do nothing but confirm my fears and anxieties. I'm nothing to everyone. I am notvaluable. No one cares. I'm not worth it. I don't deserve to be respected or cared for. My feelings and thoughts don't matter. I don't matter. I am an inconvenience to life itself. I'd rather die than go back here. They make me want to drive my car over a bridge. And if they were there to see it, they'd probably say "that was stupid". And go on about their day per usual. These people are just absolutely awful. And this is NOT the right profession to be in if you plan on treating people with this much distain.
