It's been a while since I went to Lotus of Siam. I returned and noticed that they had expanded since the last time I was here. They were on a wait due to a holiday and they took our name. They told us we would receive a text when our table was ready and that it would be held for 15 minutes. Great! We don't have to wait around, we can go do stuff. So we did. And headed back. As we pulled in, (15 minutes before the quoted time), we got the text. Our table was ready.
The place was bustling and was busy. The servers worked together as a team. I tried the garlic prawns after reading several reviews. They were good and I ate the fried shells as instructed by the reviews. Not bad. But there were a lot of shells that didn't have meat in them. That was slightly disappointing.
We were happy with the service, although had to request water refills several times. Definitely a place to take Thai food lovers. Not a place to take my mom. Her idea of exotic eating is Panda Express. (Ok, maybe not really). But then again, she doesn't like cilantro.
