I really love this gun range and usually make my way down there every other weekend during the spring/fall. Personally I enjoy shooting outside and like the freedom of those private areas to do my thing. If you want one of those FYI make sure to get there bright and early because everyone else has the same idea.
The first time you go they make you sit thru a quick safety training video but after that you are good to go. They give you a card saying you watched it and you just show it when you pay your range fee.
Ive never gone in but the club house has a nice bar with leather seating you can go relax in. Maybe one day I'll stop in.
I love that everyone has always been very friendly to me. I never once felt like it was a "boys only club" and have been welcomed every time. It's the type of place where you don't have to worry about people breathing down your neck very 15min. No one is snobby or gives off the arrogant I shoot better than you attitude.
The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is because of an incident that happened. The wife of one of the staff was trying to pressure me into buying tactical training lessons from her. I kept telling her no thank you but she was so persistent I finally had to tell her to bug off. I'm a bit grumpy at 8am on a weekend lol But what really upset me was when I thought she had left and I starting shooting. Maybe 10min later she came up behind me and grabbed my shoulders and turned me! Yes, I know this really happened! She startled the hell out of me and I was very upset and let her know it. First off you should never just come up and grabbed someone you don't know and especially when they are shooting. The lady wanted to give me her business card but at that point I was so mad I actually had to leave after I put in a complaint. I haven't seen her again so that's a plus.
Other than that the place is great and you should try it out.
