| - Do you want the best cup of coffee in Vegas? Do you want the best, most friendly service in Vegas? Then this is definitely the place to go. I got hooked on this place, when I was on vacation in Oregon. The coffee is always fresh and good. And any coffee concoction that you can come up with, I am sure they can make it. And they have a variety of other hot and cold drinks too, if coffee is not your game. The business is walk-up/drive thru only. They do not have any inside facilities. They do have a few tables outside, but the neighborhood is not really ideal for sitting outside terribly long (I'll get to that more in a minute). Besides when it's 100 plus degrees in the Summer, who wants to sit outside? The drive thru and the walk-up window both are pretty quick. The workers must really love their job to be as friendly and good at what they do. They don't seem to have much turnover either, because I've seen most of the same people there since I started going there over a year ago. A young lady named Raquel is the BEST. She is super duper nice and very good at her job. If you're having a bad day, this is the place to go, because they'll cheer you up quick and give you a tasty beverage in the process. The corporation also does so much for various charities that it is very easy to support them. It is totally worth driving from the West side over there, through some miserable construction, because I know I'm going to get great service and great coffee. And the prices are a little higher than Dunkin' Donuts, but much cheaper than Starbucks. Another bonus is that they are a 24/7 operation. Despite this being billed as a "24 hour city", off The Strip and out of downtown, there are not a lot of places like this to get coffee after 9pm. Glad I know I can count on them to be open when I really need a cup.
My one complaint is the location. This is a very seedy part of town. I was there the other night, when six LVMPD cars were circling the area with their lights on. I realize they're 'close' to UNLV, but it's not within walking distance. They must have gotten the building/land for cheap. But I hope they open a Summerlin or West Vegas location. I am sure it would go over very well. I hear they are opening a second location on Windmill near Maryland, which is a better neighborhood and more accessible to 215, but it is still on the East side of town.
