Can I do zero stars? I've been with Cox for many years and would love to leave them. My internet was intermittent and after buying my fourth modem (over $100 each time) trying to fix "my" problem, they finally pulled one part of the cable hookup. When the tech came inside saying the cable should have been replaced years ago, we tried the internet and the little blue circle of doom just kept spinning. When he finally got it working (I supposedly have high speed internet) he did a speed test (which took over three minutes to load) and got good numbers (after trying to start several times) and announced the problem was fixed. I said I doubted it and he got mad. " What can I do to make you happy?" "You can "not" leave me worse off than when you started. I did the best I could and after wishing me a good day, he left. I spent an hour and a half (mostly listening to their loud, lousy music) trying to find someone at Cox to fix the problem and was told I would get a call back. Eight hours later - NO CALL. Turned on the TV which is dead - Now I have no cable TV either. An hour on the phone and three transfers resulted in the phone being hung up.
They also disconnected my com cast to connect the new contour and when I requested that they put it back the way it was before, I would told it would cost me more per month for them to fix the problem they made.
"They are the only game in town" in my neighborhood and I pay more for for internet, TV and phone than I do for my car payment. So I'm going phone and TV shopping. I agree with Mark (a load of manure).
