I had some time to kill before heading to the airport to catch a flight. So why not get my nails done. They were in desperate need and it was on the way.
I walk in and I am greeted right way. Everyone is friendly but the place looks a bit run down. Actually it was REALLY RUN DOWN! There slip had been showing for a while now and no one seemed to care. The slip is showing is a southern way of saying social decorum is not on point.
When I go to get my nails done and your place is looking run down MY FIRST thoughts are, "Are the instruments clean" because frankly if the place doesn't look it then how can I BE SURE I'm not going to get an infection should you accidently cut me. I enjoy wearing sandals thus the reason for my visit so having a toe missing due to lets say amputation...is NOT the look I am going for. But yes I stayed and did the eagle eye while she was doing my feet. THANK THE GOOD LAWD I don't have the type of feet that need to be sandblasted.
The lady was a bit older and VERY NICE! She took extra care when she worked on my toes. She got a kick out of how ticklish I was when the time came for her to use the stone on my heels. Again THANK the LAWD I have decent looking feet and take care of them.
It was a relaxing experience and my toes looked GREAT afterwards. I would although have liked to not see rips and tears in the furniture, or things broken or wobbling. Matching décor would have also aided in helping the place to look better and they could use more of a selection of nail colors for both gel and regular.
All in all it was ok and my toes looked great in the sandals.
