  • During our initial consultation, I found Pooja to be an extremely amiable person with a strong command of her line of work. I didn't have a specific hairstyle in mind, but Pooja was able to suggest several options that would fit well w/ my wedding dress and jewelry. She was also very honest about the styles that would not work well with my wedding style. While I didn't have time to get a hair & makeup trial, I had the sense that she would do a fantastic job on my wedding day. When she came over to complete the makeup and hair styling for my mom and me on my wedding day, she was professional, witty,calm, and patient. She has a fantastic personality and was a pleasure to spend time with throughout the session. Moreover, the results were breathtaking. I received dozens of compliments on my hair & makeup that day, and she even gave me a couple of pointers on how to replicate certain aspects of the look in the future. In spite of all of the dancing, hugging, and the July heat, my makeup and hairstyle had staying power and looked just as good at the end of the night as they did when she just finished working on them. Pooja is a brilliant hair & makeup artist, and I would recommend her without reservation.
