This hotel started off with a 5 star rating. Free airport shuttle, free lemon water daily and a modern updated look (contrary to the older Yelp reviews). The carpet in the hotel is new and clean and it has been recently renovated. They also have shampoo, soap and conditioner dispensers in shower instead of the tiny bottles you have to fumble with. All the products smell and feel great. Also a plus, all rooms have a balcony.
Now, to the not so great part of the review. First, it's impossible to get to a comfortable temperature in the room. It's either too cold or too hot. Auto fan also stands for "on for 5 minutes and off for 2 hours." I went to bed around 2am, mini fridge was on. Woke up at 4:45am to leave for the airport and went to the fridge to find it broken down and full of roaches. I'm still in sheer amazement about how roaches could come in less than 3 hours.....(maybe they were already in the room).......I did a full bed bug check (negative) but I guess I should've inspected the room for roaches too which I really don't wanna have to do at a place where I'm laying my head.
The front desk is helpful if you can get ahold of them.
Overall, it APPEARS clean but I now know that's a façade. I got this hotel on Booking.com for under $95 total for 2 nights so I guess you get what you pay for :/ I think next time I'll take the advice of other Yelpers and stay at the Quality Inn across the street.
