  • The North Shore Trail is perfect for walking, running and cycling. It's fairly flat and easily accessible. It can take you towards Milvale, although I must admit it can feel a tad creepy if you run past what looks like a high fenced junk yard towards the tracks. If you turn left, the road leads you to the 4th Street Bridge, which is where I prefer. The trail also takes you past the ball parks, Science Center, and Rivers Casino, towards the West End. People on the trail generally say hello. Steer clear of the geese. Leave them be.
