I've had this spot on my list for quite a while. What a huge disappointment. This is a clear case of judge a book by its cover. The chips tasted like old burnt oil that hasnt been changed in a very very long time. My wife said they tasted like turpentine.
The salsas were okay. I asked for a pico and it had half inch long cilantro stems and tasted 2 days old. My michelada was good. The carne asada torta was also not bad. The bread was nicely toasted. My wife said her beef taco was okay and didn't tasted like bad oil. Her enchiladas were very plain and average at best.
The worst part of the meal was the bad taste in your mouth afterwards. This place is up for one of the worst recommended Mexican restaurants in Phoenix.
On the way home I told my wife I wish I could throw this up and she said me too and she can't wait to get home to brush the bad flavor off her tongue. Looks like it will be a race to the electric toothbrush.
I do not recommend this place and will never come back.
