Save yourself the hassle, money, and time. DO NOT go to UNLV. The parking is terrible, the security is the worst, the advisors have no clue what the are talking about. Over the past year almost every time I'm in the Lied library I am harassed by a homeless person looking for money or to "borrow" my phone, and have had several non students on drugs come into the classrooms before the professors show up.
Since I have been attending UNLV I have been taking useless classes that have nothing to do with the real business world. Out of my courses the maybe 3 business courses I have taken I have had amazing professors and wonder why they are at this school to be honest. If you have to attend UNLV I suggest finding a professor in your major and work with them towards planning your schedule and any tips and tricks to graduating. If I could transfer I would have already. At least I have a job where I can get actual experience!
***update*** UNLV wins again, congrats you got another $400 out of pocket from me, not sure what I even bother with financial aid, they are not help at the office there. In fact their favorite word is "no" followed up by no explanation to help you in any matter. If it wasn't for my professors I would have left this financial hole of a university. Can't wait to graduate in a ridiculous amount of debt, thank you again UNLV
