  • Coming from Northern Alberta I had never been to Calaway park before. I think my expectations were a bit high but overall I was kind of disappointed. Price is a wee bit high but still reasonable. At least until you get in and find all the extra hidden cost there are. Extra for the mini golf, extra for the little maze and food is ridiculous overpriced. On the up side you can bring in your own food and drinks if you don't mind walking around with a heavy backpack. Extra for all the little mini games. Which of coarse are every few feet. Try saying no that many times when you ate trying to have a nice day with your family of 4. Ha, not likely. On the up side the park was relatively clean but proper seating was not easily come by and even though we didn't sit on the ground persay we all left with filthy bottoms. So wear dark pants. Also all of the rides were running on the day we attended, but I found they were alway run to full copacity even though there were long lines. Sigh. Anyway we came we saw we had fun. Won't be back again.
