There was no surprise in seeing only 2 stars for this ER location. The check in nurse was completely rude from the start when i had came in earlier around 5pm, had told me it was against federal law that they tell me what insurance is accepted which is understandable. Then proceeds to tell me they only accept AHCCCS not Mercy Care.. What? Makes absolutely no sense. I had asked to be checked out in the kindness way in hopes she'd lighten up & without me asking or caring she then tells me that I was going to get billed. I never even got the chance to see the doctor. I called the manager of registration & she had told me to come back in later in the evening because they DO accept my insurance. Again, the whole experience was weird to me they had me sign a consent electronically which i didn't do the first time i had checked in and the nurse that had roomed me was just rude as well. Definitely coming to an ER to seek help you'd expect care & kindness but don't expect it when coming here to this hospital. Definitely will not be coming back even if I'm close to dying. However the doctor was very sweet & informed me everything I needed to know.
