| - There is no sign.
There is no label.
There is not even an inkling that Secret Pizza exists unless you look for it.
It's on the 3rd floor of the Cosmopolitan Hotel, next to the elevators and this really red open restaurant.
Order pizza by the slice for ~$4.50. YES. IT IS $5/ slice (added toppings at 0.50 more each). MEH. Despite the ridiculously steep by the slice price, it does serve up some delicious thin crust Manhattan, NY styled pizza -- really crispy through and through crust with very ooey, gooey cheesiness.
There is a NOTICEABLE difference between freshly made and those sitting cold on the counter (they reheat when you order). The crust is fuller and softer. Try to wait for the fresh ones to come out (though, the reheated one was not bad). The reheated one kind of...cut the top of my mouth. mmmhmmmm
Pizzas are greasy, oily and unforgiving, but for those who crave the real deal, you sop up the grease because it's unfortunately.. delicious. It is much saltier than most pizzas I've had though, which probably is due to the need to heighten taste since all your other senses are already bombarded.
They also sell whole pizzas ... to go ... with boxes that have no name on it, of course.
Why blow a perfectly good cover? :)
**pst.. this place is very small -- so don't expect to bring your posse of 20 billion friends and expect a seat. You'll be lucky to score a seat for both you and your date. Most people come, order and eat on the way out.
