| - My husband, friend, and I stayed at the Linq hotel the past week, and it really wasn't that bad. I was pretty nervous about staying there after reading some of the reviews, but I guess seeing is believing?
Getting TO the hotel parking garage was kind of a mess because it's tucked behind Harrahs. However, the location was great for exploring on the strip. We didn't really hang out there, and went to other hotel bars instead. I'm not quite sure if there even was a nice club there to lounge at. We did get our fill on the Purple Zebra drinks!! I thought it was sort of funny that some of our Lyft drivers were saying that the Linq hotel is the party hotel... I didn't see that, but I could see that it had some potential.
OK, so our room. We stayed in a smoking room, which, whatever. The receptionist was nice enough to warn us that there was some kind of show going on in Harrahs that won't be over until 3AM and the only non-smoking room was right next to the festivities (it ended up not mattering anyway). We weren't too picky, and our friend is a smoker anyway. Surprisingly, it had great ventilation, so it was almost like we were in a non-smoking room. Just thought it was funny that the hallways of our floors smelled like pot (LOL). Thought it was pretty nifty that the elevators were equipped with a room-card scanning device, so people who are hotel guests aren't roaming the hallways. The weirdest thing was when we accidentally pushed reset, or something, on the bathroom outlet and it turned off all the power sources in the bathroom.
TLDR? Not too bad of a hotel if you're trying to save your money for other things in Vegas
