| - Love the products, hate the prices, service: room for improvement. I am a huge fan of MUJI and have visited many of their stores all over the world and am happy that they finally have a location in Toronto. Comparatively speaking, I do find that the prices of their products seems to be higher in the North American and European stores as compared to the Asian branches, which is definitely a bummer.
I love the minimalistic style of all their products and the clean sleek look. The store is clean and neatly organized. Their products are generally of good quality. Have been here a few times since its over-hyped opening and finally they have pens and chopsticks! I've always been a fan of the stationary and other knick knacks from this store. The pens are of good quality and comes in a variety of colours, also most reasonably priced. Cosmetic products are also a hit here. Nice bobby pins, hair clips and compact mirrors. Also, I did get the $9 chopsticks. Seems a bit pricey but definitely of good quality, now my favourite chopsticks, I hope these will last me a long time, I might come back for more!
One downer is that I really wish they would bring the muji food and snacks to this location. I really love their snacks! Also I find the service here not up to standards. The staff not super helpful and the couple times I've been here I found the cashier staff not friendly at all, not even a weak smile! I will be back! Better than Uniqlo!
