| - INFESTED WITH BUGS!!! (Flying roaches and of course crawling ones too, earwigs, nats, black widows, baby brown recluses, etc.) ITS DISGUSTING! My roomates and I have only been here a short amount of time and haven't had a very good experience. The bug guy has come three times and nothing has changed! We have barely been here for four months!
Not only that, but the front office isn't very reliable either. Rent is due on the first of the month and they DO give you up until the 4th to pay rent before you get late charges. On the 4th of July we happened to go up to the office to pay rent first thing in the morning, and there was a little piece of paper on the door stating that they will not be accepting rent on the 4th and anyone paying that day will be charged a $100 late fee! Really!? You couldn't have posted that notice on the bulletin board above the mailboxes, sent out emails, or posted it on your website!? People don't go up to the office everyday.
The walls are EXTREMELY thin and you can hear what the people above us are doing all the time! I would call in complaints VERY often, but that won't help anything. Also, the staff here just seems a bit conspicuous. I had talked to the front office to come check something out (which I don't think I should release to the public on here until it has been proven) inside my unit the first month here. The phone call was around 4/ 430. Anyways, the office lady came off in a very rude and snobbish way when I brought the issue up to her and she said she would file a work order for maintenance to come check it out in the morning. I said great and gave them permission to enter if we weren't there. So 6 o'clock rolls around and my bf and I are in the shower getting ready to go out and we hear a knocking at the door. We ignored it because we hadn't been expecting anyone. Before you know it we hear "Hello! Anyone home? maintenance!" My bf then opens our bedroom door and tells them we will be right out.By the time we get out of our room they're standing in our living room waiting! INTRUSION! Hello!? Couldn't wait outside until we invite you in!? RUDE! I gave permission to enter the following morning, not the day of (when the front office is closed, mind you.) So as I explain the problems my roommates and I were experiencing, they barely let me talk, interrupted what I would try and say and tell me "No, no, no..." they weren't hearing any of it and really didn't show that they cared at all! So since that happened, I'm going to hire professionals to come check out this potential life threatening problem and if this issue we believe to be true is really going on, then things are going to be not so pretty for them or their complex. So please save yourselves the time, money, and stress and look into a different complex!! The 9 ft ceilings, roman tubs, and square footage isn't worth it.
