I went to the DriveTime on Camelback a few days ago. They were super friendly in the beginning until the manager ran my credit report. LOL. He came and verified my social security number then told me that there was a freeze on my credit report since 2011 and that I needed to contact Experian. This made no sense to me since I had just recently gotten approved for a couple of credit cards. Anyway, I went outside sat in my car and contacted Experian and they verified that there was no such freeze on my account. I went back inside to DriveTime to let them know what Experian had said, one guy was really helpful and understood...he took my phone over to the manager to show him the results and the manager gave me the dirtiest look and said well I'm just going by what's in the system and that's what it says, that there's a freeze! I said okay, thanked them for their time and walked out. He could have just been honest and told me that my credit wasn't good enough to get a car at their company rather than just lie and say that there was a freeze on my credit report when there wasn't. However, that same day I went to another dealership who ran my credit with no problems whatsoever and I got a car, a car that I absolutely just LOVE!! Everybody has problems in life and not everybody has perfect credit, however, everybody deserves to be treated with respect. Thank you DriveTime for showing me the door.....all the way to my beautiful new SUV!
