You know I am not a big fan of Gordon Ramsay at all! OK I lied... I am, but the 5 star is not because I like him. From what I've seen and how he responds to service and quality of food on Television, I expect he would put the fear of the restaurant Gods onto his employees if they fail him. And that's good because the service and quality of food here is phenomenal. The best steak house dining experience of 2017 for me. The RSVP process was a breeze and was seated exactly the time that was requested. The lovely hostess sat us down at a nice table at the center of the dinning area away from high traffic! As you know by now, that is one of my peeves.
Our party of three shared Apps and ordered different cuts of steak (leftover steak I ate all myself LOL) I took back to the hotel and it was still good the next day!
Delicious Appetizers:
- Seared Hudson Valley Foie Gras
- Chorizo stuffed Maine Lobster
Flavorful Steaks:
- Bone in Ribeye
- Triple seared Japanese A5 Kobe, Oscar style
- Roasted Beef Wellington
Overall, the Kobe steak is my number favorite and the Wellington is a sig dish and I've never had before anywhere so I can't compare it. If you like puff pastry and mushrooms this is a must try dish. This place is worth the trip and I wouldn't mind hopping on a flight just to come here for dinner from San Diego!
