I was in town completing a week-long, west-to-east coast work trip. I woke up on the last day of my trip with a terrible muscle spasm and knew immediately that I needed a masseuse (hoping a doctor wasn't necessary). As someone who sees the masseuse weekly, I am very particular about that service plus I was in SEVERE pain. I spent the better part of an hour searching Yelp for a place I felt would best attend to my needs, which is how I found Olea. I was SUPER excited to see Erica, who had two appointments open, according to their online booking system. I booked the 12:30 online. I arrived at 12:15, assuming I would need to fill out paperwork. When I arrived, the young lady at the front desk gave me a weird look. I told her that I had a 12:30 with Erica. To my horror, I was then informed that I was not booked at all (she must've been familiar with the 12:30 client). Apparently, she was already booked at 12:30 and she wasn't sure why I was able to see the appointment on the website. There was no sorry for the inconvenience. At one point, it seemed as if she thought I'd misread the website until I assured her that the appointment was for that day and time considering my flight was for that evening; and that I went through the process of paying a small deposit which is required by their booking system. I left totally dismayed and still in extreme pain after spending so much time searching and securing a phantom appointment. I spent another 30 minutes sitting in my rental looking for another place. What a disappointment! Looks like Erica is a great therapist. Too bad I wasn't able to experience her services.
