  • My wife and I took some friends, who were visting from out of town, to Pomelo for brunch this past Sunday. This was our first time so we were excited to try it. Long story short, we probably won't be back. The food wasn't bad, but the service was absolutely horrible. Our server was so slow that he almost seemed lost or confused. Our food came before our drinks even though we ordered drinks well before our food. Nothing came out together and we had to ask multiple times for various items. We tried to enlist the help of someone who appeared to be a manager, but she seemed annoyed that we had the audacity to even say anything. She basically didn't listen to what we said and snapped back that she was "on it". Let me tell you she was anything but "on it". She was flat out rude. Overall the entire experience was a bust and slightly embarrassing considering we took friends there from out of town.
