  • Good, not great, overpriced, vaguely authentic. Also, current yelp ratings for Terroni are overrated! Overall: ok. We had penne arrabiata, capricciosa pizza, buffalo cheese ravioli, spaghetti al limone, and a margherita pizza. The fundamental flavors were there, the ingredients were right, the portions small by North American standards but just right by Italian standards, but the overall experience of the food was not as amazing as many of these other reviews would lead you to believe. There was a certain sogginess to the pizza, a bit short of that amazing crunchiness that you probably crave. For all of you who think this is the best pizza, PLEASE GO TO ITALY. (Or failing that, try NYC, SF, or other cities with a large expat Italian population.) The pasta was good. Nothing to write home about. The service was good, the place crowded and loud, and the atmosphere was upscale but not pretentious. The price tag was middling, about $20 / person excluding wine.
