| - Yes I'm aware that this got ridiculously long but I'm frustrated to say the least.
Now understand that I'm not a new customer, I've been with them for about a year. The crew had been doing a decent job maintaining my lawn. The problems started when we moved and had to switch the maintenance service to a different address. Seems simple enough right? Come give me a new estimate and send the crew to start on my new place after we move.
I informed them even before we moved and gave them the date and new address. First of all, you're lucky if anyone even picks up the phone, and then you leave voice messages that gets ignored. I left 2 voice mails that never got acknowledged. Then I finally spoke to Joanna who said Eli would be down to my new house asap to give me an estimate.
Days later, I called again and there began the merry go round of Eli claiming that he spoke to my spouse, (never happened), emailing an estimate that we never got it, not even in spam mail so who knows, Eli saying my front lawn has grass when it's all desert landscape so I THINK he went to the wrong address but Joanna had no idea and couldn't confirm so I still don't know what happened there. And it's not like we're in a hard to find part of town, it's only about A MILE AWAY from my old place. So I had to wait again for him to do another estimate. That took forever. They finally gave me one and promised to come this week . No one has showed up since. Considering it's a long holiday weekend tomorrow, it's obviously a no show with zero communication as to why. What a complete and utter waste of my time
And as of today (3rd July) I still have not received any response to my email a week ago giving a start date or or any acknowledgement when I finally emailed them to ask them to cancel my account. Keep in mind that I'm a paying customer and here I am left wondering if they even care. After nearly a month of waiting, calls and emails, I have been more than humanly patient in giving them the benefit of the doubt. All this for a simple change of maintenance address is absolutely RIDICULOUS.
It is unprofessional that a problem persist with barely any followup effort from AMS nor should it be MY responsibility to have to keep chasing after them like I had to. It's also incredibly disrespectful to waste my time like this. Their communication is just horrible and customer service is obviously not their priority after they got your business.
So this epic essay is to say - DO NOT USE AMS if you value your precious time and sanity. There are too many other companies out there who are hungry for your business to deal with so much incompetency. Sure it starts out well but heaven help you if you need any sort of help or changes to your service later on because then it all goes straight . to . hell.
