| - I have been to this buffet a few times over the passed few years and there is nothing that stands out that is bad! Hubby, Mili(my daughter), and my 7mo went to dinner here last night(11/26) at about 7pm and fortunately there was no line but it wasn't dead inside so the food wasn't sitting under the lamps dieing. RIGHT NOW ITS 25% off FOR LOCALS WITH REWARDS CARD. SO it was $32.62 after tax!! Way better then the $45 it usually is right??
They do this buffet right small portions of hot food for easy turnover. Then the big portions are left for the good stuff like shrimp, crab, and lobster. I can't review the oysters, mussels, or clams because I usually will only eat those if I'm watching them be shucked. I don't wanna sign a deal with my toilet mmmkay. Even without eating the clams n what not I still make up for it in the LOBSTER and STEAMED CRAB =) One time I did go and the lobster smelled a lil funky but every other time I've gone it's been on the money. I had the salmon last night, who am I kidding I had like 3 helpings of the salmon last night with a lil lemon and OMG it was AWESOME the trick is to pick the fatter(thicker) pieces and you'll find moist fall apart fish. They also had this linguine in white sauce with asparagus that I loved!
The desserts are pretty good here, I had creme brulee, tres leches, raspberry coconut thingie, and GELATO the Elvis is by far one of the tastier gelatos I've had! Its banana, peanut butter, and strawberry jelly. SOOOOO good! My hubby who hates peanut butter even liked it!
Our server last night whose name I don't know because he never told it to us was not excellent. I don't make a point to look at names because if they don't want to introduce themselves then its the rude "Hey you!!" all night. I'm a server and the first thing I do is say "Hi! Welcome my name is Jessica" Not only will it make you more money because you're being personable but if they need something and ASK THE MANAGER the manager will say who is your server and guess what your table will never know!! I only needed a spoon last night and the manager was right there so I asked and you know what I had no idea what to reply when he said who is your server, I told him the tall gentleman with the mustache. Otherwise I've always had spot on service! Any who you're welcome for my service lesson ;) and rant!
This place is worth it even if you're not a HUGE seafood fan and only eat the norm like I do!
