Due to the fact that I'm not a fine dining type of guy. I will get straight to the point and provide a straight forward review.
First impression: The restaurant has a feel good vibe greeted with friendly and knowledgeable staff. It has a wonderful aroma coming out from the kitchen that can push your hunger from to starving.
Menu: They serve the normal western food with a side of fancy. They have a variety of choices but for some reason I've always opted to get the brunch specials.
The first time I was here, I got the chicken and waffle which I will not recommend. It was more like a wing or a nugget with waffles. For 16 bux, I had very high expectations. The chicken was a fail, it was bland and small. The waffles as I remember was good enough for me to consume.
Second time around was the chorizo sausage and potatoes. That was delicious! It had a nice kick and the ingredients was fresh! Potatoes were light and so well seasoned that I had wish that I have more. But that was it, I feel like they give you too little. I'm not asking for the world. All I want is the right amount to get me to satisfaction and get on with my day.
In terms of dessert, the carrot cake was the bomb! I won't describe how I felt you must try this for yourself.
Overall impression: it's a great restaurant, great food and service. However, it's not plenty and came out hungry. The price is a lot to go out of a restaurant still craving something. Good place for a nice date. But I would not recommend this for someone who wants to be full.
Final verdict. Try it once and find out if it's for you.
