  • Pink and blue is the new BLACK....not! Oh my gosh the gear is so unflattering, definitely not the place to bring your self conscious pals! It's HILARIOUS! And if you just stay present and focus on being here and in the now and allow your present moment awareness radar to light up and roll with it....you'll love the experience! After removing your street clothes and placing them in the provided locker, you'll be ready to wash, rinse and roll your stress away....bring your own flip flops. Personally, I don't care to borrow slip ons... My friend and I started our wet area adventure by sitting (on a towel) in the little "sit down shower" area, with a moveable shower wand. It's etiquette to rinse off before using such communal bathing areas. Whilst we undressed completely, we noticed that they were implementing a policy where you must wear a swimsuit, I don't think the other patrons were aware of the policy either. I'd say 85 percent of the women were completely nude. I will have one on hand for next time just in case. After using the both the herbal steam and the jacuzzi and practicing a few yoga stretches to unwind tight muscles, my friend and I made our way upstairs with complimentary cups of water in hand, there are dispensers located throughout the facility for your convenience. Once upstairs, we visited the rooms where you lay on a bed of either jade or red clay balls, we lounged about in the cute rooms that are like little human caves you must crawl into, pretending to be monks in meditation, then we slipped into the other larger room with bamboo mats where we meditated some more! Finally after 2 hours (it didn't feel that long), we entered the igloo room too bring our body temperature down before going back to the real world, the contrast of cold was delicious, refreshing and welcoming change. Before, heading back to the locker space we sat in the salt room to come back to Earth and express our gratitude for the time and space. I must have looked different, more peaceful and rested maybe...my kids commented that I looked like I was napping or something...I said "no nap, I'm just heavily meditated at the moment." This was truly a great place to unwind. Next time I'd like to check their other services.
