  • I agree with Elizabeth T. that this place is a "total rip off joint". The staff (who are the owners I think) have been around a long time, zigzagging around different Yonge Street locations. Before this location they were on the other side of Yonge, where they had a fake "going out of business" sale for about a year, before moving to 610 Yonge, where they promptly had another fake "store closing" sale which went on for about a year. If you are browsing in the store, they will approach and try to harangue you into buying things you don't want at prices you know to be outrageous. If you appear interested in something, they will say the item "just came in two days ago", which is clearly a lie. They have total contempt for customers, who they apparently see as suckers, and smirk behind your back. I only go in there for the entertainment value of watching these horrible people try to scam customers. Sometimes I will ask when an item came in just to hear the words "it just came in two days ago"... Hmmm, I think I need to get a life...
