  • I'm putting 1 star up because I would not recommend this business to anyone and I know a lot of people will just look at the stars and not read the reviews. The review itself is more important. Peter has a tiny office that is not meant for tailoring whatsoever. He's trying to force his circular business into a square box to try to save money and get a good location. In the end, it's actually worse for him. I bought two shirts from him, both came back paper thin and feeling cheap. I bought a fall coat from him, same deal. It needed work but Peter insists it looks great. He will say anything to save himself time and costs because he has overloaded himself with clients and spread himself thin. I will trust my tailor when he or she is the first to say "no, not good, it needs adjustments" before I can even say anything about it. I bought a three-piece suit from Peter. It was paper thin and feeling ultra cheap. My NAME on the inside of the suit was completely wrong and wasn't fixed until I pointed it out multiple times. How does this happen? I needed adjustments on the vest and Peter NEVER did it, NEVER communicated that it was still in progress. I'm left wondering and needing to be the one to prompt an update on his end. He is terrible at communicating updates and when suits are ready, meaning you must call them. I decided this was enough. In the end I paid Peter half the cost of the suit to get a partial refund and to never have to deal with Peter again. He kept the suit for whatever reason. He covered more than his costs, so it doesn't matter for him. He is just not aware of the importance of client satisfaction at the end of the day. "Hmm, how will this negative client experience impact my business in this day and age if I don't resolve this?" I don't think he thinks this through. Peter is just not aware in the sense that he has zero passion for his work. He does not really care about making his clientele look amazing and spreading his business in that way. I don't know exactly what kind of veneer he's trying put on for his own business and his own life, but I really hope he finds his way. He just doesn't know. He has no eye for aesthetics or fashion. The suit salesman/consultant should be very well dressed and arguably the best dressed in a room, even if just as an example of how good one can look in a suit and to promote one's own business.
