Stayed February 12th, a couple of days before Valentine's Day. My wife and I booked our get-a-way out of town room and ended up with no view (except a bush) on the first floor facing the parking lot. Way to go! Very impressive! I was told by the man at the front desk they were full and we could not be moved and "I am sorry".. He didn't tell me anything about the place which would've been nice to know. Counted the cars that evening and 11 cars existed. Doesn't seem very full to me. Was it a lie? Not sure but he could care less...I get it...We saw one person in our entire building the entire stay....It must have been packed!
The room 151 was outdated and stains on the carpet. Nice! We paid $164 for a room where it should've been $60. I wish I got what I paid for but this is not the place to spend your money at.
I was hoping to come back at some point because it really is a nice area but they do not deserve their "2014 Customer Excellence Award" proudly displayed. Hoping the manager will reach out to us and fix our concern but we'll see. Until then, this Phoenix native will place this "Inn" on the evening conversations with friends to never stay at.
Thanks for the bush outside, the front desk service, the stains, and the upper floor that pounded their steps. It was a lovely stay at he Motel at Eagle Mountain.
