| - Great lineup on Sunday night for Summer Slaughter, unfortunately it was at the wrong venue. First off the place isn't really that big and they decided to put all the merch tables along one of the walls thus decreasing space, secondly the place isn't soundproofed at all, brick looks nice but not good for acoustics and if you happen to get slammed into it....ouch. Also during the show in "The Underground" venue located in the basement was very audible through the floor.... Sound for most of the groups was very muddied, at least it wasn't ear piercing loud and obnoxious like Marquee is sometimes...Third point : Start serving alcohol, good grief lukewarm sodas sold from what resembles a kids lemonade cart in the corner is so lame...lol At least if we have a buzz it takes our mind off the venue's shortcomings.... One good point and why I gave it two stars instead of one, the bathrooms, last time I was at this place the bathroom was by far the worst I had ever been in, keep in mind I have been to 1000s of concerts in my life, it was so disgusting....this time at least it was comparable to a bathouse in some 3rd world country, which is a step up !! Unfortunately with Marquee shying away from hard metal this place, along with Club Red, are starting to be the only options in town for these type of shows.... :-(
