  • North Valley Mechanical is a Great Company!! I was really impressed with Tracy. He was very prompt also very polite. When he let me know the compressor had failed, I felt bad for him because I could tell he felt bad about telling me. He discussed the different options and since my AC unit was almost 10 years old I elected to have a new one installed. At that time Tracy let me know that Jim Reed would give me a call. I received his call about an hour later and he made arrangements to come out the next day and talk to me about having a new unit installed. He also was very helpful very knowledgeable and very professional. This all happened the Memorial Day Weeknd so they made arrangements to come out the following Wednesday and have the new unit installed. To my surprise they came out and set up two portable units for me so I wouldn't melt until they could get my new AC up and running. Wow... I have to say I was really impressed! On Wednesday bright and early at 7 in the morning Ramón and Victor came out and got to work. While they were working they discovered that the wood where the heat portion of the unit would be sitting was all rotted out from a previous leak. The water heater needed to be drained and moved so they could replace that wood. Jim came back out to discuss this replacement with me and at the same time they were trying to drain the old 10 year old hot water heater so they could move it. It was so full of sediment it was almost impossible to drain. They worked and worked on it and everything that came out was in small rocks and sledge. With their helpful advice I decided to go with a new hot water heater. They did a wonderful job. They were courteous and kind and took the time to explain everything to me. I really appreciate how thorough they were and thrilled with their quality of work. KUDOS to NVM. Nancy Ellis
