I'm no expert on Indian cuisine, but I've been to numerous Indian restaurants (Pioneer St. in Cerritos anyone?) that I can distinguish the good from the bad.
My wife and I saw the high ratings on yelp and decided to give this place a try.
Unfortunately, we didn't quite reach the summit on this place in terms of our satisfaction, but this is based on just one try.
Lamb samosas- Too dry.
Chicken Tikka Masala- Not the most flavorful masala we've had. Felt like something was missing.
Lamb Curry- This was my favorite dish. The lamb was super tender, and the curry sauce was savory with the right amount of spice.
Service was outstanding throughout and that made the experience a more enjoyable one.
We'll definitely be back to Mount Everest again and hopefully reach the top then.
