Apparently walking in a Dealership with a pre-approval is the only way ANYONE should ever buy a new car. I came in to inquire about a car & I worked with Annie- she was great btw. However Jerry (he who sits at THE DESK) Doesn't Listen. I was advised we needed to pull credit as we were searching for the perfect car that may fit my needs & credit situation. They SIMPLY needed to see my score & report to STRUCTURE a deal. Seems normal to me. Hell No! As I sit there waiting. It seems forever. I start getting alerts from Experian about inquiries; not an INQUIRY! So my visit here was a major waste of time. I left as they lied and insulted my intelligence by asking for this signature & then shot me to 4 different banks with out me EVER PICKING a car! I call Experian right away; they had to freeze my credit & now my score is lower 12 points because they made a poor choice to do what most dealerships do! Ruin Your Credit! I really like Annie & trusted her to not do what other dealerships did, and mind you it wasn't her; it was Jerry! I called HIM and asked for a letter; which is what Experian needs to put my score back where it should be and he refuses to make this right! So I'm sorry Annie. It looks like I wont be returning in a few months for my new car purchase. Ill make sure everyone I know Knows what took place today as word of mouth is very powerful. So FUTURE CAR BUYER! Experian states the ONLY WAY TO AVOID THIS IS TO WALK IN WITH A PRE-APPROVAL. Once you sign the paper; they get to shoot you to every bank in the nation & this is not me over exaggerating- last year I went down 100 point because of Sands Chevrolet. Learn from me- This time I was pre-paired & made a quick call to freeze my credit.
