  • Lets list the complaints I've had so far shall we....Ahem -Loud noisy and destructive teenagers screaming profanities and suggestive language. Such as "suck my d*%k" "Stupid c&$t" "F&^% You! Reminder these are mostly kids saying this and the parents of course are no where around. They climb on top of property...hang out in the laundry common areas and do not like to be asked to calm down. Some don't even stay in the community! -Garbage disposal dead on arrival...Maintenance team told me it will always break or need fixing just because its really old and I chose to have rice with my meals. Total joke! So every time it breaks on you good luck calling the office and better yet getting the maintenance man to come out in a timely manner. Oh and by the way it failed again as he predicted and I had to relive this experience all over again...YAY! -Stove sparked and caught fire! So in this transfer unit I moved into this one with 3 total issues which clearly shows NO ONE inspected it beforehand. -Non existant support from the office as I stated earlier they are simply there to collect a check they have no patience and will bark at you when they feel they are right. Oh and miscommunication is the name of the game. One time I literally called them over 14 times in an hour for a broken AC and no one answered ONCE and it was at 3pm! -Fridge dead on arrival when moved to a "better" unit the first thing I did was go buy $100 in groceries to fill my fridge and of course after 2 days I noticed all my frozen product was melted and I smelled foul food in the fridge turns out no one inspected my "better" unit so I payed the price had to throw it ALL away. Plus it took them 2 days to finally come out and once they did I was told there was NO thermometer in the fridge at all! How this happened I have no idea. Oh wait I do lack and laziness! Oh and one more thing NO COMPENSATION for my loss even thought the responsibility was on the complex. Electric bill was $150 for a one bedroom apartment due to this issue. -Paint used in my tub to cover up something. I noticed when I moved into the transfer until the tub was peeling realized what it was immediately had to buy something to cover it. -Pigeons are everywhere they poop right above your head and really bring down the value of this complex. Oh and people (your neighbors) are feeding them and the complex is allowing them to procreate right outside your unit! Mentioned to management also told them who was feeding the birds and to no surprise I still can see the nest under the stairs which is still active and the lady was feeding them....AGAIN! -Over TWO months with a broken AC *this is my worst gripe of them all* living in the Las Vegas heat with an AC that works for one day then don't the next! Especially in 110-114 degree heat this was the last straw. Even after installing a "new" unit my AC is still broken. This is Nevada Law to fix an essential need item such as this within 48 hours of knowing. Here I am two months in with the same problem. Even til this day as I'm typing this I'm still without a working AC so there now you know WHY you should save yourself the trouble and time and find a place that will value you as a tenant and your money. Im SURE my electric bill will be soaring and I'm sure they will never offer to help with the cost as if again this is somehow MY fault. PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!!! This is a proper warning! Ended up moving out three months before lease was up and forfeiting my deposit which was almost $600! Waiting on the letter from management get things in writing you can never be to careful! Update: Turns out the pipes on the inside (walls) maybe leaking coolant fluid. Still messed up because it took them 2 months and almost 7-10 maintenance visits to figure out the issue. And about 5 different maintenance men.
