  • My friend drove me to this urgent care on a Friday night because I was still experiencing pain from an accident I was in 2 weeks prior. Mind you, I had already seen my primary care and was on prescribed pain medicine and a muscle relaxer. I woke up in a lot of pain for the previous 2 days and decided to go get looked at, get a doctors note for work, and request a refill for one of my medications until I could speak with my doctor on Monday. The front desk girl never made eye contact and was very unfriendly. But I wish that was the worst of it. When I was finally taken back to the room, the medical assistant asked me several questions and also admitted she couldn't remember what questions she was supposed to ask when the patient has been in an automotive accident. She then said that the PA would be in to see me shortly. This "PA" finally came, but the only question she asked me was "What do you want?" I began to tell the story of how the accident happened and that I had seen my primary care doctor who put me on medications. She immediately said that she wanted me to stop taking my pain medication and to start taking ibuprofen! Was she serious?! Unfortunately, she was. Why would someone suggest I not listen to my primary care doctor's instructions, when she knows my medical history and is already treating me? Did I mention she never even touched or examined me at all? Even after I told her that I was in so much pain it hurt to talk? It seemed to my friend as though she may have pegged me for a junkie looking for a fix. This could not be further from the truth as I have no drug history whatsoever. Anyways, she wrote me a note to excuse me from work, and I could not find her name or any doctor's name on any of my paperwork. I am convinced she was a front desk person who decided to put on a white lab coat and play doctor. Don't waste your time, money, and sanity by going to this terrible place!
