  • We visited Paul Martin's for dinner on Friday night. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice; the food pretty good but on the expensive site. The service, however, was terrible. While our waiter was nice, we had to wait painfully for him to take our drink order followed by a painfully long wait to receive our drinks followed by a painfully long wait for our appetizers followed by a painfully long wait for salads followed by a painfully long wait for entrees and dessert. A lot of staff attention was focused on those in the bar nursing a drink for two hours and splitting an appetizer among many. In short, the food was good but not exceptional; fairly expensive and the service terrible. With all the other great alternatives in Scottsdale, I don't know that we will be back.
