  • My 2015 resolution you ask? To cut back on sugar! Ha! Jan 3rd and already EPIC FAIL. So BAS is a huge candy store in Cleveland. I've been here before but they finally opened the new and improved location, so of course I had to check it out. It is much more spacious than the old location. I think they were still working on stocking some shelves, but I'm not going to complain. BAS has just about any candy you could want. The prices are on par with standard retail - no deep discounts so don't expect it. You can purchase bulk bags, boxes, pick and mix, or even single serve items. They quite a bit of mini selections for like .10-.50 cents each which I dig because I like to sample a variety. The hubby and I spent over $20 for a big bag of booty just for our grown-up selves. Freaking awesome! I'm a lover of taffy and sour anything, and BAS met my sweet-tooth needs. I did say I would cut back on sweets this 2015, and honestly I did restrain the crap out of myself, so small victory :-) BAS is a destination, and if you are in the Cleveland area and love candy, this is for you. The smell alone - refined, sweet sugars and syrups - is worth a visit alone. Heaven! Take some insulin!
