I went here for a few years because it was the closest one to me and I had signed a contract with Good Life that locked me into a decent rate. This one was held in an old and not so great mall. The traffic to get into here is nuts as you have to compete with the nutty Walmart drivers in addition to the No Frills. With the 5 Guys burgers nearby, you have to really watch where you're going as people just nose dive between cars in a mad rush to get their burgers (you think I'm kidding but I'm not!).
The actual gym itself feels old... though it's fairly well laid out, the equipment has seen better days. Most days you will wait for equipment... whether it be an elliptical or a weight machine. The only time you will not wait for equipment is the free weight area BUT that area is tucked away and it doesn't have good ventiliation. When you're beside two grunting, sweaty, and smelly guys... THIS IS NASEAUTING. The ceiling is low (except in the one open area with the stairs) and this just adds to the 'old and aging' feeling.
I took personal training lessons here for about 3 months in hopes of seeing some benefits. My trainer was a bit of a jerk. I think he took pleasure in seeing me suffer with little benefit gain. The service is not great unless you're a cute looking guy, then all of a sudden the front desk is happy, personable, and engaging.
Considering the price I paid, it's ok but I won't return to the place and rather head to Premier fitness.
