This little mom-and-pop place offers one thing. Chicken tenders. They may say fingers but these deep-fried tenders are big, plump, juicy, and well-seasoned. I have always gotten the regular box combo - the fries are average, the garlic-butter-griddled Texas toast is good and very homely. There are 8 different dipping sauces but it's the special sauce that makes the tenders awesome sauce. If you get the tenders to go, put a hole on the top of the box and a napkin inside - the tenders will get soggy.
While waiting, there are little games at the tables such as mini Connect-4. The decor is historic rock-n-roll with a bit of old time diner feel. Call ahead as the hours are sometimes on 'family time'.
Chicken tenders are not sophisticated but it's done consistently and pretty well here.
