I had a bad experience at Penn automotive.
First, they did not schedule me in even though I called multiple times to check the time and date. It seems like I didn't have to wait extra, but that's a first sign about how they run things...
Second, the lady at the counter is extremely rude and unpleasant. I wanted to speak to the person who inspected my car - who I paid about $80 to inspect my car - and she kept telling me I could not speak to them. That I had to call back or write a note about what I wanted to ask them, she would ask the inspector, and come back to me. Come on! The guy was right there in the shop fixing the next car. I could have spoken to him in 2 minutes and gotten out of there.
Third, they claimed that my car needed an oil change, an expensive one, and I took their word for it. I forked out about $70 for that oil change. When I get back home I asked my mom about it and it turned out she got an oil change about 2 months ago... These folks are not honest and just want you out of there quickly. Have never experience such a rude interaction with a car shop.
