  • I'll start by saying the coffee is mediocre, I could find or make better coffee. But I happen to be one of those people who actually go to coffee shops for the atmosphere, a place to get things done outside of home/office. The location of coffee rush is so perfect, to be able to sit outside along the lake while doing work was why I went. I went often, always trying to give it another chance...ya know "the next time won't be like this" until I realized it will always be like this. The problem...SMOKING! If you sit outside prepare to have essentially smoked 17 cigarettes by the time you leave. At first I thought maybe the ones smoking just aren't courteous enough to blow the smoke away from others, but it happens every time. I'm not a smoker, however I typically don't mind the occasionally smell or accidental blow my way, but here...it's a constant cloud and it's disgusting. The staff also comes out to join the smokers and I have seen multiple times where they just come out and sit with a giant group who are taking up the same area every time as if it's reserved just for them. As a paying customer, the lack of customer considerations is quite annoying so I stopped going. The coffee or parking lot struggles aren't even worth a cup to-go..
