I was craving some milk tea while in Toronto, so I decided to give this place a try and I am very glad I did. I was happy to find that they also served a little dessert called wheelcakes! This sounded pretty tempting so I made my way over hoping to get a little dessert and a drink. The cafe was surrounded by construction unfortunately but the cafe itself inside seemed very nice and new and bright. The counter is set in the middle and there are 2 sides of the cafe where you can sit.
I ordered a cheesecake flavored wheelcake as well as a jasmine milk tea. The jasmine milk tea was okay but not great, so I probably wouldn't order that again. The wheelcake however was interesting and it was my first time trying it. It was a lot smaller than I expected, like the size of my palm. Inside, it was stuffed with cheesecake flavored custard-like filling, and outside, it was sort of like the shell of eggettes. It was yummy but the filling was a bit overwhelming considering the small size of the wheelcake. The owner told me that the bubble tea flavor is unique to their shop so it may be something to try out!
