  • Not much to dislike about this place. Good food during the day and good beer at night. I went to Java House twice in a two-day span last weekend. Friday lunch: vegetable omelet that was pretty good. Saturday drinks: pitcher of Mill Street Lager that was delicious. Service was great and prices were right. The only problem was that it was cash-only and their ATM didn't accept American bank cards, so I had to make a mad dash to the TD ATM on Spadina (in the rain) in order to foot the bill. However, it was soon forgiven. I'll be back when I'm in town.
